This is my first roaster setup from a few years back, a Presto Poplite
with a hurricane chimney and a coffee can extension. Without the can and
chimney it's just a bean cannon. The Poplite turned out to be WAY too hot. I tried running it through a 50' extension cord, but that didn't slow it down much. If I still had it, I might try using it outside in below-freezing weather...that MIGHT cool it off enough to get less than a charbroiled roast.
My slightly bastardized Presto Poplite with soup can and chimney assembly.
