well, i've gotten my dumbterm to work, after a fashion. I went into the boot-time "setup" and set serial port 2 to COM 4. This works when i setserial /dev/ttyS3 irq 5 or 9, but for some reason it seems to be running the dumbterm's connection at about 300 baud or less. If i setserial /dev/ttyS3 irq 3, the terminal connection speeds up to about 9600 baud (which is what it's set to in inittab and gettdefs), but it fights with my modem for that irq.

any ideas on how i can set the ttyS3 to irq 5 or 9 and still get 9600 baud?
